James Sutherland | Analyst

James joined Khepri in September 2024 and works within the AIFM and ManCo team. In his role, he assists fund managers with their portfolio management, risk management, valuations, regulatory reporting, and operational responsibilities for Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Real Estate Funds, helping manage over £1b in committed capital.

Before joining Khepri, James gained experience in the private equity sector through an internship in South Africa and spent a year in the United States on a cultural exchange visa.

James holds a Bachelor of Business Science with a specialisation in Finance, Investment, and Banking from the University of Cape Town. He also attended the prestigious Kearsney College, where he served as Deputy Head of School.

Outside of work, James is passionate about sports, including playing for his five-a-side football team and watching the Springboks rugby team. He also enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.
