Shahbaz Khan | Senior Associate

Shahbaz is a Senior Associate at Khepri. He is a Chartered Accountant (FCCA). Prior to joining Khepri, he worked with firms like PwC United Kingdom and BDO Jersey Channel Islands, and Ocorian UK, where he managed a range of multibillion private equity structures. He led engagements for external audit, internal audit, and regulatory audits in asset and wealth management sector. He has extensive experience in fund accounting and the application of different accounting frameworks like IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP.

Shahbaz has over 7 years of assurance experience in the financial services sector, the last 5 years of which have been in the United Kingdom and Jersey Channel Islands managing a variety of asset management clients from start-ups to multibillion-dollar managers, private equity funds, multi-jurisdictional funds structures, trust companies, real estate structures, and fund administrators.

At Khepri, he is managing the AIFM team and leading the process of investment valuations. He looks after the oversight of risk management processes and assists in designing and implementing governance framework for AIFM and ManCo functions.
